Frequently Asked Questions
How do I create a label for my homemade food?
Open the app, create or save a batch, enter details such as ingredients, allergens, storage notes, dates, container type, and estimated nutrition, then use the Labels area to preview printable labels.
Are the labels printable?
Yes. LvUp Labels is designed to help create print-ready labels that can be previewed, saved, shared as PDFs, or printed depending on the options available on your device.
What information can the app include?
LvUp Labels can help organize batch names, ingredients, allergens, made dates, best-by dates, storage locations, serving details, notes, estimated nutrition, QR summaries, and print-ready label details.
Can I use QR codes for my labels?
Yes. You can choose to include an optional QR summary on your label. When scanned, it can show label details such as ingredients, allergens, storage notes, serving size, reheating instructions, and estimated nutrition. Do not include private information in QR labels unless you are comfortable sharing it.
Is nutrition data accurate?
LvUp Labels provides estimated nutrition values only. We do not claim laboratory testing, FDA compliance, or guaranteed nutrition accuracy. For medical, dietary, allergy, or food-safety concerns, consult a qualified professional.
Does LvUp Labels replace food safety guidance?
No. LvUp Labels helps organize homemade food records and label details, but it does not guarantee food safety. Always use tested recipes and trusted food preservation guidance for processing times, pressure, altitude adjustments, acidity, jar size, storage, and safe handling.
Does the app require an account?
No. LvUp Labels does not require a user account for normal app use. The app is designed for local batch records, pantry details, and label creation unless you choose to share, print, export, or save information using your device options.
